If you are moving house and wish to transfer your gotalk telephone service, you will need to provide gotalk with the following information by phone on 1800 468 255:
1. Your customer number.
2. Your current phone number.
3. The disconnection date.
4. The new address including area code.
5. Is this a new or existing premises.
6. The reconnection date.
7. Do you wish to keep your existing telephone number?
8. Are you renting or do you own the new premises?
9. The phone plan you require.
10. An alternative contact number where you can be reached (preferably your mobile number).
11. Are you also relocating your gotalk broadband connection.
Points to keep in mind
- If the premises does not have an existing telephone line installed a connection fee of $299 applies.
- If the premises has an existing telephone line a connection fee of $59 applies.
- In many cases, customers who move address are able to keep their existing telephone number provided they are moving within the same local area.
